A family history since 1908

It all began in Moulins in 1908, when Christophe SADDE’s great-grandfather worked as an auctioneer. During World War I, the women of the family took over the business. His grandfather succeeded him in 1934, continuing a family tradition deeply rooted in the world of objects, collections, and public auctions.

A regional leader

In the late 1960s, his father expanded the business in Dijon and firmly established the firm as a fixture in the region’s auction scene. Over the decades, SADDE has built its reputation on its professionalism, discretion, and the quality of its service.

A family legacy

In 2008, Christophe SADDE took over the family firm with his brother, before assuming sole management in 2024. As the heir to a legacy of expertise passed down through four generations, he continues this family tradition today with a commitment to blending tradition and modernity.
